“Life is short.” “It’s later than you think.” “Make the most of it - life goes so fast.”
Yeah, yeah - you’ve heard it all before. Cliché after cliché. And then you go back to whatever activity it is that you’re using to distract you from the fact you’re not living life to its full potential. Mindless TV, drinking too much alcohol, eating junk food you’re not even hungry for. I know this is quite a generalisation, but for most- this s true!
But, how about I put it this way...
The average life sees around 75 summers go by. So, if you’re in your 30s, that means you’re already nearly halfway through your lifetime of summer enjoyment. Halfway!! That’s quite scary when you think of it like that, don’t you think?
During your childhood, summers were all about playing out on your bikes with your friends. In your 20s, they were probably about boozy weekends with the odd festival thrown in.
And now, in your 30s & 40s, you are appreciating the time spent with those you care about and enjoying memorable experiences.
I want to know, are you making the most of your time?
I know I’m being blunt, but it’s important to think about these things. Doing so in this way can give us some real clarity about our priorities.
Get really honest with yourself, get clear, and get focused - otherwise, you may be hit with an unpleasant surprise, and it’s too late.
Don’t let life pass you by and leave it too late!
It’s time to start grabbing life with both hands and really living at your full potential and full capacity - now.
